Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the US and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN as an SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. The ability to speak two languages allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as a reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, the reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration, drug trafficking, and others on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Also, she was an anchor and Spanish reporter for the newscast from 5 p.m. as well as anchor and reporter of the newscast from 9 p.m. in English as well as a Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. Her duties as an anchor on sports and weather was also frequently requested. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer, where she had been given an opportunity to work. Antonietta, a high-school senior with an idea of what she wanted her future to look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. As it turned out she was a fan of the university and they were offering the degree she was searching for. When she completed her high school education, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a member of her class, formed an ongoing friendship with the student. His passion for journalism and her self-confidence inspired her. In turn, she was determined to achieve his expectations and never fail him.
