AnnaSophia Robb is an American actor, model and performer from the United States. After starting out as a child star in a television show, Robb moved onto play the character as Violet Beauregarde for Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. AnnaSophia Robb was born in December 1993. She is a singer, actress and model. She began her career as a child actress. Her breakthrough role was in Samantha. The American Girl Holiday (2004). In 2005 she made her feature film debut with Because of Winn-Dixie. She was later Violet Beauregarde (a supporting character) in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The role she played in 2007 as Leslie Burke earned her praise as well as two Young Artist Awards and recognition for the performance. The roles she played in subsequent films included Race to Witch Mountain (2009) Soul Surfer (2011) as well as The Way Way Back (2013). Carrie Bradshaw (2013-2014), the show produced by The CW in which she performed the main role, received increased recognition. In 2019 she played Gypsy Blanchard's friend Lacey in The Act, a Hulu Miniseries The Act. AnnaSophia Robb is an American actress singer and model. In the year 2019 she was chosen to play Carrie Bradshaw's character on the Hulu Miniseries The Act.
